Lemon Ginger Green Smoothie

This vibrantly delicious lemon ginger green smoothie is made with spinach, banana, flax, chia and maca. Topped with hemp, cacao nibs and punchy pomegranate for extra flavour, nutrients and texture. It's both refreshing and filling!



Lemon Ginger Green Smoothie


Serves 1


ingredients

  • 1.5 cups water

  • 2 cups baby spinach

  • 2 frozen bananas

  • 1/4 cup flaxseed meal

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 1 teaspoon maca (optional)

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • 1 1" piece of ginger


toppings

  • Pomegranate arils

  • Hemp hearts

  • Cacao nibs


method

  1. Add smoothie ingredients to a high-speed blender; blend until smooth.

  2. Top with pomegranate, hemp hearts and cacao nibs.
